Is your smart TV listening to you?
Sounds like something from George Orwell’s novel 1984, but some smart TVs really are listening to you. Some manufacturers have accepted that their TVs record your voice and send it out over your internet connection so they can improve voice recognition.
Maybe you trust them when they say they’re not selling your data to 3rd parties but who else could listen in? You can opt out and maybe you should consider doing so.
